Reliable and Valid Assessments
Validity
All Profiles Assessments available in Australia have been validated for the Australian population and are re-validated every 24 months to ensure that all our assessments keep pace with the ever changing face of the Australian population.
Reliability
Due to the robust validation studies that our assessments undergo on a regular basis, Profiles International has the highest correlation coefficient known at .82 (compared to other popular assessments which have a reliability of .50). This relationship is expressed as a decimal number ranging from .00 to 1.00, where 1.00 indicates perfect reliability and .00 indicates the absence of reliability. It is commonly accepted that a reliability of .70 is considered acceptable, .80 is excellent and .90 is outstanding.
